Trains could be cancelled, delayed or revised, says National Rail.
Passengers travelling from or through Milton Keynes rail station are facing delays and cancellations today after a train derailed near to the area.
Routes affected include the London Euston journeys to Birmingham New Street, Manchester Piccadilly, Liverpool Lime Street and Edinburgh, plus the big cities on the way.
‘Major disruption is expected until the end of the day,’ says the National Rail website.
It’s understood the derailment occurred in the Bletchley area and was described as ‘low speed’ with no injuries reported.
