People parking at Furzton Lake will face new restrictions from Monday 15th August.
The Parks Trust, an independent charity that cares for over 6,000 acres of parkland and green space in Milton Keynes, has announced that new parking restrictions are being introduced for motorists visiting Furzton Lake.
From Monday 15th August, there will be a limit of two hours at the car park on Shirwell Crescent, motorists will face a charge if parked there for longer.
A spokesperson from The Parks Trust said: "From 15th August, motorists who use our car park at Shirwell Crescent, Furzton will be charged for stays of over two hours. Visitors who use the car park for under two hours will not be charged.
"This change is prompted by continued, all-day use of the car park by motorists who do not visit the area to enjoy the lake and parkland.
"Our intention is to protect parking spaces for park users."
