Council suspend parking bays to aid social distancing ahead of centre:mk and intu re-opening

Milton Keynes Council has suspended parking bays around centre:mk and intu to ensure shoppers can follow social distancing today (15/6).

Hundreds of shoppers are expected to return to the City Centre as non-essential retail resumes, and both the council and the shopping centres have implemented new measures to ensure people can stay safe.

The centre:mk and intu Milton Keynes have introduced one-way systems, floor stickers and queues outside stores to limit capacity.

Milton Keynes Council has also put up signs surrounding centre:mk and intu which remind shoppers to 'help control COVID-19'. Shoppers are reminded to wash hands regularly, keep their distance, stay at home if showing coronavirus symptoms and to follow Government guidance.
