Overturned lorry causes havoc on busy Milton Keynes roundabout

An overturned HGV was lifted back onto its side after causing havoc on the busy Kingston roundabout last night.

The V11 Tongwell Street was closed for several hours yesterday (13/12) after a lorry overturned on the roundabout.

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue were on the scene alongside Thames Valley Police Roads Policing unit and after several hours they managed to lift the HGV back onto its wheels.

It is not yet known how the HGV ended up on its side but the road is now clear and traffic has returned to normal.
