Over £1000 raised for charity as Midsummer Place turns 21

Between 25 and 26 September, more than £1000 was raised to support Henry Allen Trust and Great Ormand Street Hospital.

Last weekend, Midsummer Place celebrated its 21st birthday in style, glamour and fun!

Giant butterflies, stilt-walking jugglers, a huge inflatable train and fairground rides gave visitors non-stop fun for the whole weekend.

During the weekend, a generous £1179 was raised and will be split equally between children’s charities, The Henry Allen Trust and Great Ormond Street.

Sharing photos and videos of the two-day event on social media, Midsummer Place was a hive of activity, with music, games, competitions, challenges and much more unfolding as visitors enjoyed their days out.

“We’re absolutely thrilled at how fantastic our 21st birthday was celebrated. It was lovely to see so many happy faces out and enjoying the events at Midsummer Place and we look forward to make more happy events in the coming years.” says Shelley Peppard, General Manager at Midsummer Place.

She adds: “The team and I would like to extend our thanks to the public for their kind donations, to The Henry Allen Trust for their partnership and to every business and individual present at our event to help make it so special.”
