Over 100 coronavirus non-compliance reports made to Police in Milton Keynes this weekend

Over 100 reports of non-compliance with coronavirus rules were made to Police in Milton Keynes over the weekend.

In total, the force received a total of 117 reports for non compliance of Covid related matters across the two days.

Reports can be made via the Thames Valley Police website, with a number of breach categories available - including 'stay at home' breaches, self-isolation breaches and face coverings not being worn.

Police say you should only call 101 to tell them about Coronavirus breaches if you are unable to report online. If the threat is immediate or a crime is ongoing, please call 999.

Milton Keynes is currently under a national lockdown, which means you must stay at home except where necessary.

Valid reasons to leave home include shopping for basic necessities, going to work where you can't work from home and to exercise with your household, support bubble or one other person (where you should stay 2m apart).

Exercise should be limited to once per day, and you should not travel outside your local area.

The coronavirus rules are available in full on the GOV.UK website here.
