Olney named one of the best places to live in Buckinghamshire by Muddy Stilettos

Once again, Olney has been crowned one of the best places to live in the county - this time by acclaimed luxury lifestyle site Muddy Stilettos.

Olney has been crowned the 5th best place to live in Buckinghamshire.

The market town just outside of Milton Keynes follows Great Missenden in 4th, Haddenham in 3rd, Marlow in 2nd and Amersham in 1st place.

Lifestyle website Muddy Stilettos curated the Top 250 best places to live in 2023, with readers voting for their favourite places to take the top spots for each county.

The website describes Olney as 'a beautifully preserved Georgian market town that boasts an indie-loving high street, a farmers’ market every first Sunday of the month and a stellar food and drink offering.'

Despite being so close to Milton Keynes and neighbouring towns Bedford and Northampton, Muddy Stilettos says that 'you'd be wrong' to think it blends in with the new town feel.

Last year, The Sunday Times' Best Places to Live 2022 guide ranked Olney in the top 10 best places in the South East of England.
