Welcome to Camphill MK's newsletter. They hope that October is treating you well. If you've missed the latest on social media, here's what they've been up to this month.
Our Handmade Craft & Food Fair on 8th November

We hope you can join us!
Hosted inside our The Chrysalis Theatre MK, grounds & Cafe, our Handmade Craft & Food Fair will showcase our very own artisan-baked goods, preserves, traditional textiles, ceramics & unique one-off art & craft items. We will also be joined by 30+ local crafters, makers & artisans.
Please join us at this truly local (and free) indoor event – 10 am – 3 pm.
We are also seeking volunteers to help us during this much-loved event.
If this could be you, please get in touch with our team via

Stolen Minibus

As many of you will know, we recently had our accessible minivan stolen.
Sadly, the minibus was set alight. We assume after stripping for parts.
We are grateful for the support we have received from all of you.
We would like to thank the Broughton Fire Station crew from Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service, who attended our vehicle alongside Thames Valley Police. It was found not far away from where it was stolen on Willen Road, Tongwell, Milton Keynes.
You can read the coverage on BBC News here and watch our CEO, Tim Davies, speak to ITV News here.
Our residents are deeply saddened by the treatment of their wheelchair accessible bus. It's cruel, but we're heartened by the support from other charities and our fantastic supporters and friends in Milton Keynes and beyond.
We are, of course, insured, but will never recover the full cost of replacing this vital equipment.
If you can donate to help us bridge the gap, please do so via our Local Giving page, as the Milton Keynes Foundation are running their Monster Match (27th-31st Oct) initiative, doubling all donations.
THANK YOU!

MK Gallery Sensory Tour Project

Our Craft Workshop has been collaborating with MK Gallery for several years.
This year, they invited us to create a sensory tour, in collaboration with Collar & Cuffs Co., for their exhibition Paz Errázuriz: Dare to Look.
The sensory tour aimed to help anyone enjoy the exhibition and make it more inclusive. Together, the group devised accessories to support sight, sound, smell, and touch, helping people with different needs engage more deeply with the exhibition.
