Niftylift has unveiled its new fully-interactive machine display at the Milton Keynes Museum.
Since it opened in 1973, the Milton Keynes Museum has told the story of pre-1970s Milton Keynes, but now, with the introduction of its New Milton Keynes City Gallery, it can tell the story of the modern City as well, and Niftylift has announced it is 'proud' to be a part of it.
The display centres around a Niftylift factory production line with a real HeightRider12LE All-Electric (HR12LE) that visitors can operate.
The HR12LE is one of Niftylifts new zero-emission All-Electric MEWPs, and Niftylift build them at their world headquarters right here in Shenley Wood, Milton Keynes.
The HR12LE is a shining example of British Manufacturing, showcasing some of Niftylift's best innovations and its focus on environmental performance.
Plus, its predecessor was the reason Niftylift came to Milton Keynes in 1988, so the company think it’s the perfect choice for the exhibit.
As an honorary member of Niftylift's Test Team, the company invites you to don a hi-vis and hard hat and take the HR12LE through its final function tests as you control its movements (safely from the ground).
There is also a video of the HR12LE’s journey from a design concept to its arrival at the museum, some fun, hands-on activities to challenge your assembly skills and, coming soon, an interactive display of the different disciplines that come together to produce a Niftylift.
