This weekend (13-14th June) energie Fitness gym is hosting a charity “Virtual Fitness Festival” event to help raise funds for Milton Keynes Hospital Charity.
The event is open to everyone to join and boasts an amazing range of free interactive fitness classes over Zoom, YouTube and social media throughout the weekend with some fantastic prizes to also be won!
If you’d like to try Zumba, Pilates, Yoga or even a Be Military Fit Boot Camp for the first time - this event is for you! As well as raising funds for Milton Keynes Hospital Charity, the event will be entirely free to everyone!
“We want to get residents of Milton Keynes active again as we begin to leave this long lockdown, and give them the chance to experience a wide range of fitness classes to see if they find something they enjoy doing. The event is also about raising money for our hospital charity so we are asking for as little as a £1 donation from everyone,” says Rob Francis, owner of energie Fitness gym based in Kiln Farm.
Claire from energie Fitness adds, “We will have amazing prizes worth hundreds of pounds to give away as part of our raffle draw. Many prizes have been donated by local businesses keen to support our residents and our local hospital. It’s amazing how, at this time, people have been so fantastic at supporting each other and our brilliant key workers in the NHS. We see this with our club members every day - they have supported our charity efforts and each other through out lock down in our amazing community group.”
The event will be held this Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June from 9am - 5pm each day. With some of the best instructors from Milton Keynes and as far away as Winchester taking part this will be a truly unique experience.
As well as fitness classes, there will be talks and seminars on well-being, a giant pub quiz, prize give aways and everyone who enters the event will get a chance to win with a complementary raffle ticket. Participants can buy more raffle tickets for further chances to win incredible prizes - from top of the range fitness tech, to free meals out and even vouchers for some of your favourite shops.
“We want as many people as possible to get involved, so have made sure we have a class experience for everyone. From low impact classes ideal for those who need a full work out without all the leaping about, through to mums and babies, fun family sessions for kids and parents to enjoy, as well as all the favourites - HIIT classes, Box Fit, strength classes and so much more”, said Rob.
He continues, “All the classes will be fully interactive over our zoom platform so our amazing instructors will be able to see you, coach and engage with you. This also helps members feel that they are part of a real class with that fun group exercise atmosphere...all from the comfort of their own home. We want to give people the chance to enjoy what our members have been getting throughout the lock down period - full support in their health and fitness goals!”
