New vaccination centre open at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes

The Stadium MK Vaccination Centre is open today (22/12) at Gate 5, until 4.00pm and is able to accept Walk-in visits as well as Pre-Booked Appointments.

As the effort to vaccinate the local population increases, the opening of new vaccination centres will ensure that residents have as many opportunities as possible to get their vaccination by increasing the number of available appointments in our area.

Anyone wanting to receive a Booster Jab today is able to attend, as long as their 2nd jab was on or prior to the 6th October 2021.

If your first jab was on or prior to 3rd November, you are also able to receive a 2nd dose of vaccine from today (22/12).

The new Stadium MK vaccination site is in addition to the walk in site already open at Saxon Court in Central Milton Keynes.

Felicity Cox, Chief Executive Designate, Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care System, said: “We are working with all of our great partners across BLMK to protect our local population and respond to the new threat from the Omicron variant."

"The opening of two new vaccination centres will allow us to increase the number of appointments available to our population each day, making it even easier for residents to get their jab at a time and place most convenient for them.

“I would like to encourage anyone who has not yet had their first, second or booster vaccine, to come forward to get vaccinated.”

Details of session times at the new centre can be found here.
