Solihull, located in the West Midlands of England, has the highest police force numbers in the UK, per 1,000 of the population.
As of 2022, Solihull has 61 police force workers per 1,000 people, the town is also under the West Midlands Police Force. Despite this, however, Solihull had the highest burglary rate, per 1,000 of the town's population, in the UK.
According to the research, Milton Keynes has 24 police force workers per 1,000 people.
Milton Keynes falls under Thames Valley Police.
The research also suggests that the city has the lowest amount of CCTV cameras per person compared to other cities in the UK.
In a three-way tie for the area with the fewest number of CCTV cameras, comes Warrington, Birmingham and Milton Keynes. All three of which have just 0.2 CCTV cameras per 1,000 of their respective populations.

Police numbers has been a large debate in Milton Keynes over the last few years, with many stating there is 'not enough'.
The number of police constables in Thames Valley’s Neighbourhood Teams is set to double, increasing the number of officers available to deal with local crime across the region, TVP announced in June.
This is being done as part of a wider force review project, with the aim of ensuring the force is set up in the best way to deal with the demands of modern-day policing.
There will be five-command areas:
- Buckinghamshire
- Milton Keynes
- Oxfordshire
- Berkshire West
- Berkshire East.
Roll-out of the changes will be phased, with the change introduced in Buckinghamshire over this year, and other areas to follow in 2024.
