Bringing the buzz of matchday is the goal of new MKFM broadcast.
MKFM will be helping its listeners prepare for MK Dons home games by bringing all the news, views and matchday facts as kick off approaches, in a new radio show.
Called ‘MK Dons Matchday Live’, the new programme will be on air every Saturday afternoon for the rest of the season when the Dons are in action at Stadium MK. Starting at 12 noon the new show will have all the information you need before the big game begins.
It will hosted by MKFM breakfast show presenter Trevor Marshall, whose voice you might also have heard as the Dons’ matchday announcer. The first part of the afternoon will focus on the Milton Keynes players along with manager Scott Lindsey.
Then Trevor will be joined by special guests while welcoming regulars such as Lee ‘Scribbo’ Scriven, who knows everything about MK Dons.
“The show is there for listeners to get involved in, with fans’ opinions of what is happening on and off the pitch,” said Trevor.
“The radio station’s studio is located next the club shop and near the famous food van ‘Caz Bar’. It’s here you might be asked for your thoughts and predictions for the game as you collect your tickets or eat your pre-match burger.”
Listener involvement and fans’ views are at the heart of the show: the buzz of matchday, all the latest news and the opportunity for supporters to have a voice on everything MK Dons will all feature.
From 2pm, Trevor heads into the stadium to announce the teams on to the pitch while James Summers takes over to guide you through the afternoon with fantastic music and all the action right up to 5pm and the referee’s final whistle.
