Project Fitness is run by trainer Roland Patterson and is all focused on changing people’s mindsets in terms of training and eating.
The bootcamp classes take place twice a day, three times a week with a variety of HIIT/Circuit style sessions. All abilities are welcome.
This is the latest fitness class that can be enjoyed in Milton Keynes’ beautiful and inspiring parkland. The Parks Trust, the self-financing charity that manages and maintains over 6,000 acres of the city’s space, looks after the licences for these activities and always welcomes applications for similar groups.
Other outdoor fitness classes include fitMK, which offers fitness and training classes for ages 16 and over run by Chief Instructor Simon Williams and his fully qualified personal trainers and drill instructors at Campbell Park and Willen Lake.
In addition, British Military Fitness offers fun, motivational and effective military style fitness classes for all ability groups at Campbell Park. Other licences using The Parks Trust’s parks include a one to one running coach and running sessions for children.
Julie Dawes, Events & Community Engagement Manager, commented: “We love to see as many people as possible exploring and enjoying the city’s green space, and these fitness classes are an excellent way for people to keep active in the fresh air. “We are always keen to welcome these groups, but would like to remind all those who run such sessions that they need a licence to do so in our parks – unfortunately sometimes we see people doing these without the correct permissions, which can have real safety implications for themselves and their clients.”
