New Met Office forecast for Milton Keynes shows no signs of hot weather ending

The latest long range weather forecast for Milton Keynes from the Met Office shows no signs of the hot weather ending any time soon, and it could even last well into August as well.

Temperatures this week are set to remain high, with maximum temperatures of 26 degrees tomorrow, 22 on Tuesday and Wednesday, 24 on Thursday and 22 on Friday.

Sunshine is expected to remain across the week, with no rain or thunderstorms expected to hit Milton Keynes.

During the following week, dry, fine and warm weather will predominate our city, though occasional showers are possible, perhaps including thunder and lightning.

Met Office officials say there are currently limited indications of the weather expected in August.

However they have predicted that in general Milton Keynes is more likely to have dry and warm or very warm weather, though showers are likely at times, and perhaps some thundery episodes during the start of next month.

Temperatures are likely to remain well above the August average, which means it's not time to put the sun cream away just yet!
