New guided 'e-scooter tours' of Milton Keynes aim to teach people about local history

Newly launched 'e-scooter tours' of Milton Keynes aim to teach people about local history while riding across the city.

The tours, which are the first of their kind in the UK, have been launched by ScooTours and Spin - which owns a fleet of electric scooters in Milton Keynes.

They will begin by offering two routes, the Loughton Valley e-scooter tour and the Campbell Park & Willen Lake e-scooter tour, on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th April.

A spokesperson for Spin says that these routes will allow participants to ride the scooters while exploring the local areas, focusing on "local history, nature and public art."

They continued: "With this unique offering, ScooTours will provide a new way for novice and advanced riders to access e-scooters in a safe and fun environment and explore Milton Keynes, a town that boasts one of the UK’s largest selections of parks and cycle pathways."

Electric scooters have been incredibly popular in Milton Keynes since launching, and over 70,000 rides have been made on Spin's scooters in Milton Keynes alone.
