New Export Fair to be held in MK

A brand new Export Fair is to be held in Milton Keynes to bring expert knowledge to small businesses in the city.

City MPs Mark Lancaster and Iain Stewart believe that MK can lead the way when it comes to exporting due to the city’s impressive number of SMEs - so they are hosting Export MK at Stadium MK on Friday, 23rd March 2018.

The event aims to give SMEs the confidence, contacts and knowledge to start exporting and provide the opportunities currently available around the globe to those already engaged with export.

The Department of International Trade, Chamber of Commerce and UK Export Finance are just a few names out of up to thirty organisations who will attend as stall holders.

The event is completely free for owners or representatives of SMEs in MK and surrounding areas, and will include a number of speakers and workshops to cover all aspects of exporting.

Only 5 to 10 per cent of UK SMEs are currently engaged in export. With the UK Government focusing on building a Global Britain this is the time for smaller businesses to take advantage of the opportunities and consider exporting.

Export MK will be held at Stadium MK on Friday 23rd March between 10am – 4pm and has been sponsored by Visionary Finance and Tech Mahindra.

If you would like to become a stallholder or attend the event, contact them on 01908 686830 or visit www.lancaster4mk.com
