The building, which was once Lloyds Bank, is set to become a convenience store according to latest planning submissions.
An application has been made to Milton Keynes Council with plans to open a brand new convenience store in the empty former bank building.
The building, located on St John's Street, has been sitting empty since the closure in 2019.
An application has been made to MK Council, by Strawberry Local Express Limited, for a new premises licence to be able to operate as a convenience store.
The store hopes to sell alcohol daily from 7am until midnight.
A decision on the application is to be made by Milton Keynes Council's Licensing Sub-Committee on 18th August.
