New 500 home development plus school and local centre in Milton Keynes set for approval

An outline planning application for a brand new development in Milton Keynes which would consist of 500 homes and a number of local facilities is set to be given the green light this week.

The site is located close to the A5 and A4146 Roundabout south of Fenny Stratford, adjacent to the already approved Eaton Leys development.

It will consist of up to 500 homes, including 40% affordable homes plus a primary school, local centre, open space and associated works.

Access for vehicles to the new development will be via the A4146.

Of the affordable homes proposed, 33.2% will be 'affordable rent' (of which 6.64% will be 'social rent') and 66.64% will be 'shared ownership'.

A final decision on the application will be taken by local Milton Keynes councillors on Thursday evening.
