MyMiltonKeynes joins the ranks of real Living Wage accredited employers

MyMiltonKeynes (MyMK) is delighted to announce its accreditation as a Real Living Wage employer, underscoring its dedication to equitable compensation and ethical employment practices.

This accreditation, granted by the Living Wage Foundation, signals MyMK’s commitment to ensuring that all its employees, including third-party contracted staff, receive a wage that reflects the true cost of living.

The Real Living Wage, currently set at £12 per hour across the UK and £13.15 for London, exceeds the government's minimum wage standards and is recalculated annually based on the actual cost of living. By voluntarily opting to pay this higher rate, MyMK reaffirms its belief that every individual deserves a fair wage.

"We are thrilled to join the growing community of Real Living Wage accredited employers," said Jill Farnsworth, CEO. "This accreditation aligns perfectly with our core principles of fairness and social responsibility. It underscores our conviction that a hard day's work should always be rewarded with a wage that enables individuals and families to thrive."

MyMK now stands alongside over 14,000 organisations across various sectors in the UK committed to paying the Real Living Wage. This accreditation extends to all directly employed staff as well as regular third-party contracted workers, ensuring that everyone contributing to MyMK's success is fairly compensated.
