Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, has launched ‘Bounce Back MK’ aimed at celebrating the success of businesses and individuals who as we exit lockdown.

Non-essential retail shops are now allowed to open as long as they follow the Government’s distancing guidelines as the country eases out of the lockdown which brought a halt to the economy.

Ben paid a visit to Newport Pagnell High Street and the MK Biergarten, in Wolverton, on Friday to talk to businesses about how they had adapted to social distancing and support they need to bounce back.

The MP for Milton Keynes North commented, “Now is more important than ever to support our local businesses so I would urge everybody to get out and pay them a visit, while of course maintaining the social distancing measures.

“It was excellent to visit MK Biergarten who have done a fantastic job allowing people back in the shop after running a home delivery service through the pandemic.

“Milton Keynes has a thriving local business community and we all need to support them and help them bounce back as quickly as possible so I’ll continue to visit businesses across MK North over the next few weeks.”
