MP gets on his marks to support Milton Keynes charity at London Marathon

The MP for Milton Keynes North, Chris Curtis, has announced that he will be taking part in the TCS London Marathon for the second year in a row to raise money for Willen Hospice.

Chris raised more than £3700 for the charity last year, which has helped members of his family during some of the most difficult times.

One of the many vital services Willen Hospice provide is the Willen at Home (WAH) team.

This dedicated group of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Registered Nurses, Doctors, and Health Care Assistants has the expertise, compassion, and experience to care for those with life-limiting illnesses.

The WAH team makes it possible for patients to stay in the comfort of their own homes, surrounded by the people they love, while still receiving the specialized care they need.

“It was a real challenge taking on the London Marathon last year on one of the hottest days of 2025, but it was so worth it to be able to raise money for the vital work that Willen Hospice does for people in our city,” Chris said.

“Terminal illness is one of the most difficult things a family can face, but I know first-hand how Willen make that experience more comfortable and treat people with respect, care and compassion.”

“Campaigning for Willen Hospice to get more consistent funding, and fundraising for them myself, has been an incredibly meaningful thing to do as an MP. If you’re able to donate, please do, so we can help them to continue their invaluable care.”
