More areas across Milton Keynes missed in waste collection yesterday as crews continue to operate one day behind

Milton Keynes Council has taken to social media to apologise to many residents for not having their waste collected as planned yesterday (26/08).

Milton Keynes Council has only just resumed bin collections after previously suspending them due to low staffing levels. The "pingdemic" caused many staff members to self-isolate for an extended period of time.

In a short statement released earlier last night, a spokesperson for the Council said: "We apologise for delays to the food and garden waste service, we're currently working one day behind."

The areas missed are as follows:

    • Oxley Park

    • Kingsmead

    • Westcroft

    • Emerson Valley

    • Bletchley

    • Newton Leys

    • Little Brickhill

    • Caldecotte

Residents impacted by these delays have been advised to put their waste out for collection today (27/08) instead.
