Newly livered cars unveiled at business meeting.
MKFM has revealed its two new MINI city cars, after announcing a partnership deal with local car showroom Stratstone MINI Milton Keynes.
The radio station and news agency recently sealed a sponsorship with Broughton-based Stratstone MINI and last week used one of its monthly ‘Meet of MK’ business gatherings in the heart of the city, to show the two full-electric MINI Aceman models to guests and passers-by.
They will become a familiar sight around the city too, as MKFM plans to use the vehicles for all its marketing, event and business work this year.
MKFM’s new cars are the first all-electric Aceman ‘crossovers’ available and were designed to be the first ever MINIs intended to be sold solely as a plug-in car. Their striking looks, high-end technology and ability to take a wide variety of customisation, make them exciting, head-turning models that will catch the eye of residents across MK.
“We are very excited about our partnership with MKFM and cannot wait to see our MKFM branded MINIs on the roads in and around Milton Keynes,” said Laura Dolan of Stratstone MINI. “This is such a perfect pairing for us.”
“We wanted to show our ‘green’ credentials when we were planning to team up with a car supplier, and we’re delighted that we have found a partner in Stratstone MINI,” said Jo Ronan, acting director, MKFM.
“The two cars caused quite a stir last week when we parked them outside PopWorld in central MK for our regular MOMK meeting. And I’m not surprised – the MINIs are great looking, up to the minute in terms of technology and completely electric, so CO2 free.
“Milton Keynes residents will be seeing the two MINIs regularly as we carry out our news gathering, event support and broadcasting duties over the coming months. Keep a look out for them and give us a wave if you see us driving.”
