After taking a year off, MK Playday is set to return next year and will take place on Wednesday 7th August 2019 at Campbell Park.

Planning for the hugely popular event is well underway and early signs suggest it will be the best free play event Milton Keynes has ever seen.

MK Playday 2019 will be held between 11am and 4pm, with plenty of activities for all children to enjoy.

As in previous years, the team behind MK Playday are looking for local organisations to support the event, whether that is through volunteering to help on the day, or financial contributions.

They are also looking for a sponsor to help ensure MK Playday is enjoyed by as many children from across the city as possible.

Organisations and companies looking to be involved should email the Chair on emma.stace@pre-school.org.uk or The Parks Trust representative j.dawes@theparkstrust.com

MK Playday provides fun, free accessible activities for all children, young people and their families across Milton Keynes as part of the nationally recognised Playday which celebrates children’s right to play and highlights the importance of play in children’s lives.

Emma Stace commented: “We are so pleased to be bringing MK Playday back to Campbell Park next summer.”

“It’s an incredibly popular event that is enjoyed by children of all ages and abilities, making it the highlight of the summer for many.”

“The success of MK Playday wouldn’t be possible without the support of organisations across Milton Keynes for which we are very grateful; we hope people will be as generous with their time and assistance in 2019 to make MK Playday bigger and better than ever!”

The MK Playday Organising Committee Group consists of representatives from The Parks Trust, Milton Keynes Play Association, MK Dons Sport and Education Trust, MK Pre-School Learning Alliance, Play Rangers at Woughton Community Council, MK Children’s Centres and Milton Keynes Council.
