MK Dons kit pays tribute to codebreakers

Away shirt has hidden letters in recognition of Bletchley Park.

Milton Keynes Dons have revealed a ‘secret’ side to their new away kit – a hidden tribute to the legacy of scientist Alan Turing and Bletchley Park.

Located in Milton Keynes, Bletchley Park is a globally renowned heritage site that served as the wartime home of the Government Code and Cypher School (GC&CS). The critical work conducted there during World War Two not only played a major role in British intelligence but also laid the groundwork for modern computing.

The Dons have designed the new shirts in collaboration with global sportswear brand Reebok. It’s the second kit launch with the company as part of the 25/26 campaign.

“This season’s Away Kit pays tribute to the Bletchley Park legacy, with Enigma machine keys subtly imprinted into the fabric, honouring Bletchley Park’s cipher-breaking achievements and the pioneering individuals behind them, said a club spokesman.

“MK Dons would like to extend sincere thanks to Bletchley Park Trust for supporting our launch and contributing to the kit's concept and design.

Supporters can pre-order the kit online now, with click and collect and in-store availability starting from 12pm on Friday, 11th July.

The Adult Replica Shirt costs £55, while Junior shirts are priced at £40.
