MK businesses invited to take part in an inaugural pancake race

The project team for the Milton Keynes Rose are challenging businesses to take part on Shrove Tuesday (25/2).

The relay race in Campbell Park will help to raise funds needed for the engraving of two new pillars, and to help support future projects at the Rose.

Businesses are invited to take part in teams of four. Each team will need to bring along a frying pan, and each runner will complete a 300-metre lap of Campbell Park. The fastest team will be crowned the MK Rose Pancake Winners.

Debbie Brock, Chair of Cenotaph Trust, said: “We are really looking forward to seeing this race in Campbell Park.  We are proud of our Shrove Tuesday pillar and can’t wait to see which local organisation will win the inaugural Pancake Relay Race trophy.”

To enter, please contact The Parks Trust at: events@theparkstrust.com. There is a £50 entry fee per team.

The Milton Keynes Rose (The Cenotaph Trust) is a registered charity funded by sponsorship, generous private donations, and supported by The Parks Trust and Milton Keynes Council. To donate, please click here: https://localgiving.org/charity/themiltonkeynesrose/
