Milton Keynes youngster saddles up and completes challenging cycle ride for charity

While many people were enjoying the extended seasonal break and putting their feet up yesterday, 12-year-old Campbell Creighton got on his bike and cycled 30 miles around the new city for charity.

As MKFM reported earlier in the month, the event was in support of The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND) and Willen Hospice, and he has smashed his target of £3000 - the total currently raised is £3,830.

Campbell, a pupil at Ousedale School, was supported by his parents: “The ride was amazing, he did so well,” his dad Ollie toxld us, “He complained of sore thighs towards the end, but absolutely smashed it.

“My wife and I are so very proud of him, as are all his family and friends.”
