Milton Keynes town invites residents to attend 'informal Q&A' with TVP Police and Crime Commissioner

    The Police and Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley Police, Matthew Barber, will be visiting Olney in September.

    Olney Town Council say Matthew Barber, The Police and Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley Police, will be visiting Olney in 13th September.

    The meeting will be taking place at the Olney Centre at 7pm.

    The Police and Crime Commissioner's role is to account for the performance of the Force.

    His key priorities for Thames Valley over the next few years include: 

    - Strong local policingmatthew barber

    - Fighting serious and organised crime

    - Improving the criminal justice system

     -Fighting fraud and cyber crime

    -Tackling illegal encampments

    Elected to the role in May 2021, Matthew Barber won with a majority of nearly 80,000.

    Olney Town Council stated that this will be an opportunity for locals to ask any questions they have regarding policing in the town.
