Milton Keynes to turn into giant crime scene for outdoor murder-mystery game coming next year

Milton Keynes will transform into a giant crime scene as part of a self-guided outdoor investigation game.

Following the success of “Witchcraft & Wizardry” and “The Ripper” played by over 1 million people worldwide, 'CluedUpp Games' are back with a brand new mystery that combines outdoor gaming and crime-solving in a unique one-off experience.

On 9th April, teams of up to six people will crack clues, solve puzzles and complete challenges - all while soaking in the sun and enjoying the local sights.

Players will be given the location of their 'secret starting point' in a pre-game briefing and then using forensic techniques, codebreaking, and good old-fashioned detective work, it’s up to the players to crack the case.

Founder of CluedUpp, Tref Griffiths said: “We’re now the world’s biggest geogaming events company, hosting exciting and immersive events in every continent around the globe.

"We have worked tirelessly to bring our amazing customers a brand new mystery and an incredible outdoor experience that will leave gamers on the edge of their seat - be prepared to step in the shoes of a crime scene investigator as you navigate the streets to find clues to crack the case!”

    • Best Young Detective (Under 16's Prize)

Taking place entirely via the CluedUpp smartphone app, the game is available on both iOS and Android - all you need in order to take part is a phone and a team of 2-6 willing investigators.

Tickets for the event are on sale now, costing just £42.00 for a team of 6 adults (little detectives and dogs play free!) and can be purchased via the CluedUpp website.
