Milton Keynes to house the first padel club in the UK

The first club dedicated to the low impact sport of padel will be based here in the new city.

Padel has become a huge hit, and is popular with all ages and fitness levels - more than 400,000 people regularly play.

The Padel Vault is due to open in Knowlhill early in 2026, and will deliver five doubles courts, and one singles court, together with changing rooms, and a fitness studio delivering classes including pilates, cold plunges and sauna.

“Milton Keynes has such a thriving sports and leisure scene so where better to open a state-of-the-art club dedicated to the fastest growing sport,” said Danny Moore, the man behind the venture.

“Now we have planning permission, work will start to turn what was an empty warehouse into a modern sports and leisure venue which is accessible to the whole community. Right now, we’re putting together a range of membership packages offering outstanding value and convenience but we’ll also have a pay and play option for those wanting to try before they buy or play more occasionally,” Danny added.

“Construction will get underway shortly and we expect to be open early in the New Year so watch this space for early membership deals and special events.”
