A new city software company has achieved 400% growth in just seven months, positioning MK as a hub for innovative customer service technology.
Prominent Media, a Milton Keynes-based software company, has announced the significant business milestone, with their Fintrano product reaching its 5,000th tracked job just one year after launching.
The business celebrated tracking 1,000 jobs in June 2025, after only six months of operation. The leap to 5,000 jobs in just over six months represents a 400% increase, signalling strong demand for innovative customer communication solutions in many industries.
Fintrano’s simple diary app is designed for service businesses where customers need to be available when the worker arrives at the door.
From field-based trades, such as plumbers and electricians, to finance advisors and personal trainers, the Fintrano software keeps customers informed and in the loop throughout the appointment process.
Real-time location tracking and text messages bring 'big company' service to small businesses.
"We spoke to local businesses in many sectors before we wrote a line of code," explained Iain Row, Managing Director of Prominent Media.
"We know how to write good software, and making sure we receive input from potential customers as early as possible means that our solution is useful to them from day one."
Starting in Milton Keynes and expanding rapidly into Northampton, Fintrano has also helped its customers grow their customer reviews significantly.
"When we started in April 2025, we had 15 reviews on Google. Now we have over 120, and Fintrano helped us get them - it's a game-changing piece of software," said Hanna McWilliams, owner of A&A Gas Service in Newport Pagnell.
The rate of growth cements Fintrano as a key player in customer communications technology sector and demonstrates Milton Keynes’ growing reputation as a thriving tech hub.
