Milton Keynes restaurant's typo faux pas sees chicken roasted in 'cocaine'

Typos are common mistakes that we all make, especially as we become more and more reliant on autocorrect.

And one local restaurant made the mistake of publishing their dine-in and takeaway menus with a pretty interesting word swap.

The Blue Orchid, a Thai and Indian restaurant in Aspley Guise, is popular with locals for its authentic and flavoursome dishes.

Since lockdown, they have had to close their doors and shift to offering takeaway.

One man was looking through their Indian takeaway menu when he spotted a particular dish.

Number 30, the Karahi Chicken / Lamb, states that it is "simmered in ground spices, roasted cocaine and bell peppers cooked in a wok".

This would easily be overlooked should anyone be skim reading the menu, but this eagle-eyed food fan spotted it and took to social media to share his find.

The Blue Orchid has since assured the community that this was a "printing mistake". Phew!
