Milton Keynes South MP performs topping out ceremony on new care home

The MP for Milton Keynes South, Iain Stewart, recently performed a topping ceremony at a new Care Home in Newton Leys, called Lakeview Lodge.

The care home, which officially opens its doors on Sunday 3th of September for a Public Open Day, overlooks the beautiful Little Willow Lake and will house 66 residents and will create more than 40 jobs for local people.

Spread over three floors, Lakeview Lodge will be registered to provide personalised residential and dementia care in a luxury environment, but at an affordable cost to the local community. The home has been purpose built in traditional stone to promote a lifestyle for residents that offers superior accommodation and a high quality of personalised care. The home will boast 66 en-suite bedrooms, a hair salon, a café/bistro, a shop, a cinema room, and numerous lounges and communal areas.

An award winning catering company Elior will be working in the home, offering a fine dining experience and waitress service. There will also be a choice of different menus and all food will be prepared on site from fresh ingredients. Family and friends will always be invited to enjoy the experience with their loved ones.

Winners of the prestigious award by Health Investor for residential Provider of the year in 2015, Country Court Care are already established across the United Kingdom, with homes in South Yorkshire, Somerset, Cambridgeshire, Cheshire, Lincolnshire and London.

Discussing Lakeview Lodge, Managing Director of Country Court Care Alykhan Kachra stated “our philosophy is simple – families and residents are at the heart of everything we do. Lostock Lodge will offer residents beautiful surroundings with the reassurance of outstanding personalised care by our team”
