Ceramic poppies and British soldiers have made an impressive focal point above Oakgrove secondary school's entrance.
The artwork, which was handmade by students to mark Armistice Day, is unmistakable from a distance and so can be enjoyed by the local community too.
Oakgrove School has also created Armistice Day art on its playing fields at the back of both the primary and secondary school sites.
Painted poppies up to 25 metres make a huge impression on the ground and from the upper floors of each school.
The temporary poppies will slowly disappear, once the grass grows and is mown.
The creations were designed using the school's tiny line marker robot, which is normally used for outlining sports pitches.
Headteacher Ian Tett said: “To commemorate Armistice Day, Oakgrove School has created stunning pieces of art, not only for all to enjoy, but in order to start a conversation with our students about the symbolism of the poppy.
“At 11.00am on 11 November, Oakgrove School staff and students will pause to remember those in the armed forces, both past and present.”
