Wine preservation pioneer Coravin has announced a second edition of its World Wine Tour, naming a Milton Keynes restaurant as one out of the four participants in the UK.
After embarking on the first World Wine Tour in May of this year, Coravin had once again hit the road (so to speak) this September.
The tour will make stops at restaurants across the UK, Italy, France, Australia, and, for the first time on the World Wine Tour, the Netherlands and the US, with 30 venues worldwide participating.
In the UK, Coravin is once again collaborating with Top Selection. Participating restaurants include The Dysart Petersham in London, Kobe Steakhouse in Milton Keynes, the London branch of New York's classic steakhouse Smith and Wollensky, and Niall Keating’s Tender Restaurant in Manchester.
Featured wines served by the glass through Coravin during the World Wine Tour include the following:
- Champagne André Jacquart Le Mesnil Grand Cru 2012 (the 2013 was used in the previous tour)
- Domaine Lequin Colin Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers 2022
- Calera Mt Harlan ‘Ryan’ Pinot Noir 2019
- Capannelle Avignonesi 50 & 50 2018 IGT Toscana
- Chateau de Fargues Sauternes 2005
Coravin founder Greg Lambrecht said, “The World Wine Tour is an exceptional opportunity to showcase how Coravin’s technology transforms the way we enjoy wine. By preserving each bottle’s freshness for weeks, months, or even years, we’re empowering venues to offer a broader selection of wines by the glass.”
“We’re excited to partner with iconic restaurants to elevate the wine experience for guests, allowing them to explore diverse and exceptional wines without the commitment to a full bottle,” Lambrecht added.
Owner of Kobe Steakhouse, Razvan Marcu, said, “We are proud to have been offered this partnership with Coravin, being one of only four restaurants in the UK participating in this World Wine Tour.”
Kobe Steakhouse, is based in Xscape Milton Keynes. More information can be found here.
