Willen Hospice is giving local people the chance to warm your hearts and your wallets with the Winter Warmer Raffle, which is open until March 26.
The raffle offers more than 100 chances to win, including a £3,000 first prize, two £250 prizes and 100 runner-up prizes of £5.
Every ticket purchased will help the Hospice continue to provide expert compassionate care and support to local people and their families, completely free of charge.
Funds raised through the raffle help support essential services such as bereavement counselling, which made a life-changing difference to Chrissie after her son, Matthew, received end-of-life care from the Hospice.
“When you lose a child, it’s very different to losing anyone else,” said Chrissie. “Counselling was the turning point for me. It helped me to endure the loss of my first-born, who was everything I ever wanted in a son.
"I’ve had counselling before, but I so needed bereavement counselling. It was one of the most valuable times of my life.”

Every ticket helps fund care and counselling services that make a real difference, and there’s the added excitement of a chance to win up to £3,000.”
Fundraising initiatives such as the Winter Warmer Raffle are vital in helping the Hospice raise the £9.6 million it needs each year to continue caring for the local community.
Raffle tickets can be purchased at willen-hospice.org.uk/lottery or in any Willen Hospice shop.
The closing dates are 20 March for posted entries and 26 March for online entries. The draw will take place on Friday March 27.
