Milton Keynes pub closes for refit

It’s last orders for a month while renovations take place.

A popular Woughton on the Green pub closes its doors this weekend – for a compete refit and renovation.

The Ye Olde Swan will call time on food and drink for at least four weeks but is set to reopen with an improved look and feel following a six-figure investment.

Located on Newport Road, the charming Chef & Brewer pub – part of pub company and brewer Greene King – will temporarily close to the public from Monday (13th October) while the renovations take place, with the upgraded venue set to reopen its doors in November.

The investment includes significant improvements to the pub’s interior, with new furniture, sleek décor and an extended bar area to provide customers with an enhanced experience.

“The Ye Olde Swan’s garden is also set to be transformed with new furniture, lighting and more than 100 additional seats,” said a spokesperson. “Creating a spacious outdoor area for guests to enjoy a delicious range of food and drinks whilst soaking up the scenery, no matter the occasion.”
