Looking for that all-important prom dress in Milton Keynes will now be a breeze for youngsters, with news that Bletchley-based store MK Prom is moving to a new location with even more choice.
MK Prom has been helping youngsters to shine for the past seven years, and owner Neil Westerby told MKFM that the demand for the perfect outfit is going through the roof.
MK Prom will host a Grand Opening at its new Bletchley premises – the site of the former Natwest Bank – at the end of the month.
“Never in a month of Sundays did I expect to open in such a large space,” he said, “But we are going from strength to strength, and the idea of prom attire is getting bigger and bigger.”
The average price of a dress is £400, and the company is confident that it will sell in excess of one thousand ahead of next year's season.
The store is also able to offer budget opportunities and payment plans, and assists with all alterations.
MK Prom is also a favourite for people looking for a black tie outfit, and wedding guests seeking something special.
And there is no chance of two people having a cringe-worthy moment by wearing the same dress to their big event: “If someone buys a dress from a particular school, we won't sell another the same to someone else from the same school,” he promises.
The Grand Opening at 215 Queensway, Bletchley, will be at 6pm on August 31.
