Milton Keynes Post Office staying in temporary location for longer

Milton Keynes Post Office – forced to temporarily relocate following a fire in the summer – will continue to serve people from its position in Midsummer Place for a while longer than planned.

We are not quite ready to move Milton Keynes Post Office back to its permanent location after major repair work were needed due to the serious fire in June,” a Post Office spokesperson said, “The branch will stay at its current location in the shopping centre at Unit 33 and 33a Midsummer Place, near the frog clock for the time being.

The branch is still transferring to a new operator as planned this week. It will close at 3pm on Tuesday 25 November for the transfer to take place and it will reopen on Wednesday 26 November at 1pm. The new opening hours will be Monday to Saturday: 9am – 5.30pm and Sunday: 12 am – 4pm.”
