Milton Keynes police launch investigation after boy is approached and spoken to by man in white van

    Thames Valley Police has launched an investigation after a local boy was approached and spoken to by a man in a white van.

    The incident took place at around 18:45 on Wednesday (17/3) in Gloucester Road, Wolverton.

    Police have only shared brief details about the exchange, saying that the man "spoke to the boy" and then drove away in his van. 

    The boy was not injured during this incident.

    However, it has prompted a swift response from officers, who after receiving the report decided to conduct house to house enquiries to find out further information. 

    A spokesperson for the police force added: "We are treating this as an isolated incident and officers will continue to be in the local area."
