Thames Valley Police is working in partnership with St John Ambulance, MYMiltonKeynes - Business Improvement District and Milton Keynes Council to provide a Safe Hub in Central Milton Keynes.

The jointly funded project by MYMiltonKeynes - Business Improvement District and Milton Keynes Council, provides an onsite treatment centre.

With Police co-located with St John Ambulance Staff, residents will be able to head to The Safe Hub to receive emergency first aid as well as support.

In a statement released on their Facebook account last night (10/12), TVP say they will also be there to support the safeguarding of vulnerable people

Inspector Ross Gehnich from Milton Keynes Police Station said: “The hub is a fantastic facility which demonstrates the commitment of Thames Valley Police and our partners to ensuring a safe night time economy in Milton Keynes.” “In addition to providing emergency first aid, it also serves as a focal point for those needing support whilst on a night out.”

The hub is located at The Hub, Midsummer Boulevard, Central Milton Keynes tonight (11/12).

Thames Valley Police say it will also be present on a number of key dates on the run up to Christmas and the New Year.
