Milton Keynes-based Best Parties Ever, has been donating all of its extra food following the last minute cancellation of some events.
The local party service offers Christmas Party events at Willen Lake over the festive season. Offering a Parisian themed evening with food, drinks and spectacular performances, the service allows companies in Milton Keynes to celebrate Christmas together.
With the current coronavirus situation being on everybody's mind and following the introduction of COVID passes, some last minute cancellations have been affecting the business.
Instead of throwing the extra food away, Best Parties Ever have been making donations around Milton Keynes.
Staff got in contact with Morrisons Milton Keynes Leisure Plaza and with their help were able to offer the food to help the local community. Food was divided between breakfast clubs and different schools for their Christmas Parties. MK Community Fridge were even able to put some towards local community fridges.
As well as Milton Keynes-based companies, they also donated to City Harvest London to be distributed to organisations that serve the hungry.
