Milton Keynes Orchestra announces concert to celebrate women from the local community

    Professional Milton Keynes-based Orchestra, Alina Orchestra, are bringing their inclusive concert ‘I AM WOMAN’ to Shenley Brook End Auditorium this March.

    ‘I AM WOMAN’ will be a concert to celebrate women from the local community of Milton Keynes, the Orchestra says.

    Taking place around International Women's Day, (8 March) it will recognise the diversity of women across the city whilst honouring their cultural achievements.

    The event features a number of performances from local musicians, both amateur and professional, with the culmination of the event being a mass performance by all musicians of the title song 'I Am Woman'.

    The orchestra invited many different members of the community to take part in this initial year of I Am Woman with the intention of reflecting the diversity of communities in Milton Keynes.

    • Miriam McComie (soprano)
