Milton Keynes nail bar fined after breaching Covid rules

Milton Keynes Council posted on social media that they're visiting 150+ businesses a week to check they are Covid compliant.

Under current lockdown rules, the whole beauty industry is closed.

However, Milton Keynes Council found the unnamed nail bar operating despite the lockdown restrictions.

After the discovery, the nail bar was fined and ordered to close.

Milton Keynes Council said that they will continue to visit businesses daily to ensure they are following the current government Covid rules.

They urged businesses to 'not gloss over the rules' and risk 'potentially spreading the virus'.
