Drum & Bass On The Bike came to Milton Keynes yesterday, filling the roads with bikes and brilliant boom!

Performance artist Dom Whiting, aka 'DJ on the Bike' began taking his drum & bass sets to the streets during the pandemic, and thousands now join him across Europe whenever he gets in the saddle.

During Sunday's much-anticipated musical ride in the new city, attendees travelled from Stadium MK and through Central Milton Keynes, where unsuspecting shoppers were greeted by a stream of cyclists, scooter riders and even roller skaters making their way through Midsummer Boulevard.

Earlier on the journey, the participants sheltered from a summer shower at an Esso garage, making for quite the spectacle.

“I want to give a massive shout out to everyone that's come out today, despite there being another festival on, it has been absolutely insane, thank you so much,” Dom told his fellow riders, giving a nod to Reggae Land, which was being hosted at The National Bowl.

Writing on social media, Natalie Button said, '(!) Enjoyed every second, what a thing to be a part of, ' while Carl Hawtin wrote, 'I was beeping my horn to the beat when everyone passed us in the city. Looked good fun.'

'Loved it, loved it, loved it. The best Sunday ever,' added Tony Loftman.
