Milton Keynes Museum gears up for its annual Transport Weekend

Milton Keynes Museum will be hosting its annual Transport Weekend on 9th and 10th September.

Milton Keynes Museum's Transport Weekend returns next week.

The museum's green space will be transformed with over 50 vehicles on the Saturday and close to 100 on the Sunday.

Bodywork will be polished to perfection, and customised motors will be causing a commotion among visitors.

The two-day event will feature many vintage motors, and a few lorries will be on site, too.

If you prefer to travel on two wheels, not four, there will be lots of gleaming bikes to catch the eye.

Museum director Bill Griffiths promises it will be a 'wheelie' lovely day out for all!

“You really don't need to be a motoring enthusiast to be wowed by the display we have in store for you," he promised.

“There will be some seriously impressive four wheelers to explore, and an opportunity to chat with their proud owners. All our usual Museum attractions will be open too, and you can grab a hot or cold snack in The Granary Tea Room, so be prepared to stay for a while!"

Standard admission applies - which will also give you FREE entry for the following 12 months; adults £15, child £10, concessions, £12.

A family ticket (admitting two adults and up to four children) is £40.
