England captain further honoured in her hometown of Newport Pagnell

England captain Leah Williamson's mural has been updated to reflect her team's Euro 2025 win on Sunday.

The tribute was originally painted following the Lionesses' momentous win in 2022, but the company responsible – Murwalls – jumped into action following the Sunday's further success.

The piece now boasts additional wording – 'double European champion', 'history maker' and 'So nice she lifted it twice'.

“Leah is one of our own and Sunday's win was a triumph. We couldn't be prouder. The additional wording is brilliant,” one resident told MKFM, “Hopefully there will be more words added in the future too!”
