Milton Keynes MP’s annual Christmas card competition winner announced

Iain Stewart MP has announced the winner of this year’s Christmas card competition.

The MP for Milton Keynes South, Iain Stewart,  invited schools across Milton Keynes South to send in their entries for this year’s Christmas card competition.

Every year, the MP hosts a Christmas Card Competition inviting pupils to design the artwork of the card he sends to his family and friends.

This year’s three themes were Festive Big Ben, Christmas at home and Santa Claus at a favourite Milton Keynes location.

Having received multiple entries, it was a difficult task for the judges to pick one winner.

This year’s winner is Vaishnavi from Abbeys Primary School.

Commenting, Iain Stewart MP said: “Every year, I enjoy seeing the numerous entries from Milton Keynes schools for my annual Christmas Card Competition.

“I would like to congratulate this year’s winner, Vaishnava, from Abbeys Primary School on her wonderful festive Big Ben design.

“As well as sending the cards to my family and friends, the Prime Minister was delighted to receive a Christmas Card too.”

The first recipient of Iain’s Christmas Card was the Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, who was delighted to receive a Christmas card with a festive Big Ben on the front designed by Vaishnavi.
