The MP for Milton Keynes North, Ben Everitt, is taking on the challenge to do 100 push-ups a day throughout November to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The Conservative MP for Milton Keynes North, who has served as member of parliament for Milton Keynes since 2019, is taking on the Push-Up Challenge with the aim of raising money for life-saving cancer research.

Cancer Research UK was formed in 2002 with the aim to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.

This is the latest physical charity challenge undertaken by the local MP after he raised hundreds of pounds for The Brain Tumour Charity in March and April 2021, by running 10km 10 times.

Ben commented: "Most of us have been affected by cancer in some way throughout our lives so I'm determined to play a small part in helping to continue the fight against cancer by taking part in The Push-Up Challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

"Just a small donation really can go a long way to supporting the life-saving research our world class scientists are working on day in day out so anything you can donate will be really appreciated."
